Arjo, Lyudmila and Anna founded the Centre for Research in Arts and Economics in 2011. They have been working together on various research projects and educational programs. They have undertaken a research for the European Parliament on “Financing the arts and culture in the EU

arjo klamer

Arjo Klamer

holds the chair of Cultural Economics at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam. His current research focuses on the cultural dimension of economic life and the values of art. He is member of the board of various cultural organizations. He is President-Elect of the Association for Cultural Economics International (ACEI).

Lusy

Lyudmila Petrova

holds a MA in cultural economics and cultural entrepreneurship. Passionate for art she is teaching and conducting research in the areas of creativity and economy, financing of the arts and cultural policy. She is finishing a PhD research on factors of creativity at Erasmus University, Rotterdam.

Anna Mignosa

Anna Mignosa

has a PhD in cultural economics. She teaches and conducts research on cultural policies, economics of cultural heritage, and economics of the creative industries. Since 2011 she is member of the Board of the Association for Cultural Economics International.


In 2011, two new members joined the team: Priyateja Kotipally and Carmen Artenie Pas. Both attended the first edition of Value of Culture Summer School in 2009. They found an affinity with the ideology an objectives of Creare Foundation and joined the team.


Priyateja

Priyateja Kotipalli

is currently doing a PhD research at Erasmus University focusing on the heritage sector in India, from a cultural economics perspective. He is also involved in fund raising and is a member of the Creare faculty.

Carmen

Carmen Artenie Pas

holds a Msc. in Migration, Ethnic Relations and Multiculturalism obtained at Utrecht University. Her interests encompass topics related to the sociology of culture and in particular cultural participation of ethnic minorities, cultural taste and statistic analysis and methodology.

 

 

 

Since 2015, another of our alumni is working with us to make our course and activities known in the far East.

Younsun Won

is currently a PhD candidate under Arjo Klamer’s supervision at the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication at Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
